Refund Policy

  The Minerva Foundation for Women of BC ("Minerva BC") maintains the following policies for participant withdrawals, transfers, and program cancellations (collectively, the “Refund Policy”) for the Emerging Leaders and Women Leading the Way™ programs (collectively, the “Programs”).

1. Withdrawals Prior to Program Start

  Participants who withdraw within two (2)-weeks prior to the program start date (the program start date is the first facilitated session of the program), are eligible for a full refund of tuition paid, less a non-refundable administrative fee of $100. For the purposes of this policy, the “program start date” is defined as the date of the first facilitated session.

2. Withdrawals After Program Start

•  Participants who withdraw after the program start date but before the commencement of the second facilitated session are eligible for a refund of up to seventy-five percent (75%) of tuition paid.
•  Participants who withdraw after the second facilitated session has begun are not eligible for a refund.

3. Program Transfers and Deferrals

  Participants may transfer to another available cohort of the same Program at no additional cost. Alternatively, participants may defer their participation, in which case Minerva BC will hold their place for a period of up to one (1) year from the original program start date.

  If a participant transfers to a Program with a lower tuition rate, the difference in tuition will be refunded.

4. Program Cancellations by Minerva BC

  In the event that Minerva BC cancels a program (including, but not limited to, cancellation due to insufficient enrolment), affected participants will be offered the following options:

•  To defer participation to a future offering of the same program, subject to availability;
•  To transfer enrolment to an alternative program scheduled to run at the same time, subject to availability and eligibility; or
•  To receive a full refund of any fees paid in respect of the cancelled program.

5.    Request Process

  To request a withdrawal, transfer, or deferral, participants must contact the Programs Manager via email. All requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to confirmation by Minerva BC.
